I can see a mention of the Roast Duck being 5th & 6th of DECEMBER!
BTW - 5-6 November is Wednesday & Thursday.
So either this will be not 5-6 or not November (I'm assuming this will be a weekend thing).

Yep you are right, The ROAST is 5th and 6th of DECEMBER, and the Pink Floyd Experience is on the 8th November (at that site but not a bike rally).
Will get the mods to edit thread title when entries are out.

Heres's a copy of their facebook post.

ROAST DUCK--- Here we go folks I can now confirm that The Roastduck will be held on 5th and 6th of December this year. This event will go back to what you all know, a two night gig with bands and stuff over both nights, an organized ride with all bikes on the Saturday as well as a heap of other "summer based" things to do. As this is the first time (as far as I know) the Duck has been held outside of winter I will need a hand with what we should be doing over the two/three days, the Sunday should be sorted with getting up-eating breakfast and going home but that still leaves Friday arvo and Saturday, your thoughts would be appreciated, cheers John

I think I'll give this rally a go - I have a new (well, 2nd hand actually) motorbike tent to try out and the boss wants me to use up some leave around the time of this rally.

I see that entries are now open on this site: http://www.riverparkeventcentre.co.nz/ so I guess I should get my entry in.

I'm getting my crap ready, got Friday off work so I can get there during daylight.
I have a new tent to try out and a new camp chair too (Redverz Expedition II tent & Kermit chair).

They say BYO, I'm guessing that the 'no glass' rule is probably in effect so I've bought some cans to take.

The weather shouldn't be too bad, met service says for Napier:
Friday - early rain then odd shower
Saturday - becoming fine in the morning
    Sunday - fine
Can't complain too much about that.
Temperatures don't look too extreme either.

    Anyone else going?
