I reckon this could all be part of a giant social experiment. Have him mobilise the youth vote and massively upset the established paradigm. Soon laws are relaxed along with cultural and moral norms being eased.
Young and old clash, economy falters, riots break out.
End result is the Elite et al gets to see what it looks like when a western nation crumbles. They've already had fun with their colour revolutions in Europe but they want a practise run on NZ first before taking down the USA.
USA has gotten too big for its own boots along with too much freedom for ordinary people to become successful and the Elite don't like that, its time for them to start afresh.
