Im properly surprised by the diversity of poll voting so far. Seems labour are not a friend of kiwibikers so far.

What is the background to people picking fringe parties? Mana/dotcom has surprise me, compare to mainstream polls.....well that and very few are voting labour, at tis stage.?!?

Protest vote is all. Bikers are individualists and more likely to steer away from mainstream anything I guess.

I've voted for nearly every party there has been, but never National. Partly upbringing - working class family, both parents in the Engineers Union, I never knew what they voted, but I'd be pretty sure it'd be Labour. And like a lot of young people who first voted in 2008, they grew up in a Helen Clark Labour government, my childhood was 4 terms of National and the pompous Keith Holyoake. In the 2 horse race of the early '70's my first time at voting was for the Communist Party.

I have more choices now, I don't know who or what I'll vote for, but I do know what I won't.

Local Candidate = Democrats for Social Credit ... Party vote = National (prefer National as best of a bad bunch and Social Credit monetary policy) and dusted!

There is massive diversity in the polling in this thread compared to general polls.

I'm surprised that there has only been a couple of considered opinions about the political landscape on this poll.

The fact that it's a public poll rather than anonymous will be having an effect.

I'm still waiting for a decent option in the poll. I'm not a communist, not lazy and not dumb, but I am yet to be convinced about the point of voting so never have. They will all tell you what you want to hear and aren't held to account over any promises they make. They won't magically make jobs appear and the price of bread and milk won't change overnight. I will still have to go to work, I will still have to provide a future for my kids. It matters not which party is in power as in a few years everyone will get bored and the other party will have a go. In my considered opinion about the political landscape, the whole lot of them should go and get fucked.

Except Winston. He appears to be a good cunt. Is he the Dunedin MP?

Nothing like the new Ford Truck!

I bought a new imported Ford F250 Tri-Flex Fuel Truck, Go figure, it runs on either hydrogen, gasoline, or E85.

I returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work.

The service technician explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Nelson,' the technician said to the radio.

The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'

'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers. Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant,' Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,'I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, 'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck but I swerved in time to avoid him...

    I yelled, “F*****g Idiot!”

    Immediately, the radio responded with:

"Ladies and gentlemen, an address from the Leader of the Opposition, David Cunliffe"
"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."
