    Used custom leathers

I have a 2 piece custom set of leathers that I am no longer able to fit into. Just wondering what o do with it. It was custom made for me so I don't see a opportunity to hand it on, but I don't want to trash that much good leather. Is there anywhere in NZ a place which takes them and would use the leather in a suite for someone who needs one? I don't want anything for the suite, just want to keep them out of the land fill.

What measurements were they based off? You may well find someone on here keen to buy.

Just cos it's 'custom made' doesn't mean that it'll suit people less than an off-the-shelf item.

I am 1.7m tall and weight at the time was 70ish. The waste lines 42cm and the inseam 80cm (all approx). I'm in Hamilton, the leathers are in excellent conditions, 2- piece zip together.

I'm not interested in selling them, I either want to recycling them or give them to someone who needs them.

Remember there are also places that can alter suits, so even if someone is close, it's close enough.

Tazz, update this thread if you did not get my PM. I left them at Boyd's under the name you gave me.

Hey mate. Yup seen it and replied earlier on. Should be in your inbox by now hopefully. Thanks again man, you're a legend and they'll be picked up tomorrow and put to good use. Give me a yell if you're ever passing through Picton with time for a beer.
