My starter button has never had any issues since i bought my bike a few months ago. I went out on a cold rainy night, then next time i tried to start it...nothing.
Is this common? Hard to fix?
thanks

Have you got a kill switch? Have you made sure it is in the start position? Is you battery flat? Do your lights work? Got any buds?
For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
checked the kill switch. battery is fine as all the indicators ect work, and it starts first pop with the kick starter
Got a multimeter to see what the voltage is reading when off / running?
Can also use it to test the switch, although pulling the plug out and jumping the pins would work too
"It's hard to keep an open mind, when so many people are trying to put things in it"
Checked the fuses?
Solenoid could be a possibility too? Aliens?
Aliens are (usually) thought of as intelligent life forms ... I'm not sure you qualify ...
The start button contact points will probably just need a clean. The recess where they are located on the bars is a favorite hidy-hole for spiders (and moisture) ... A few minutes with a Phillips screwdriver will reveal the problem.
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
My first thought was the colour of the power band is wrong...![]()
