Not often I get fired up like that anymore. I'm out of practice. Though it's nearly always that same lying little cunt that gets me that angry.

Back to things that aren't about Mr H.

Billy brought up the following in a race report regarding the Kawasaki 250r 250 production bikes and potential for kill switches to be knocked (they are as big as hell)...

I know it's a production bike and everything should be stock as...
But this is more of a worry than running out of fuel.....
    And apparently quite common.

Maybe there should be a solution found, I.e. $5 kill switch on the LHS?

Your already allowed to change the bars and controls,With the exception of the front brake master cylinder, So I guess it comes down to personal responsibility, Taping it up or turning it upside down are asking for trouble, Anybody else see the piccie recently of Biggles with his deadman switch on his lefthand bar and his arm up indicating he was pulling in? While I'm sure Marcus wouldn't do anything dangerous on purpose, Commonsense would have told me it should be fitted to the righthand bar for a similar reason to the Ninja issue.

Cant believe I'm being so supportive, but AT LEAST HE HAD HIS HAND UP, unlike an awful lot of munters out there, including some of our so-called elite !

    Haha yea,

It wasn't biggles I was concerned about, Moreso any youngsters who saw the piccie and followed suit without taking the precaution of checking the cord was long enough, Also I wonder if the steward had a look at it to ensure it was safe.

Also of note in the new rules, NOTHING has been done about the issue with the sight glass in the clutch cover, If running the original footpeg brackets and controls they have a tendency to smash the sight glass with the rearbrake lever in the event of a crash, In fact this model was singled out as a model that protective covers are not commercially available for, This is incorrect AND one of the board members charged with ratifying these rules was informed they were available ex Japan 12 months ago, Can you guess which one???? If you require one, Contact Merv Orford at Kiwistars as he obtained one over a year ago and can probably point you in the right direction

Rules can be changed over night based on a safety issue, and as this is a proven documented safety issue, just get the rule changed to safe common sense
