Is that ambiguity? Think it is.
    Bastards.
Should have told them it was for religious reasons as that was when he was conceived and that they are persecuting you.

I feel gutted for you Drew, why would they deny your kin such a great name!

Next time try for a first name such as "Whata"

Tell them it is Maori and traditional...

From experience I can confirm it is no fun losing the front off your sidecar whilst riding it. Losing the rear, twice, is no fun but pales compared to the front.

Moools, you're frame will be fine. Drew is being pedantic. From the looks you're using a fairly standard RHS so will be a low carbon steel, that will yield long before the welds break off! I would be very surprised if you get any cracking, just not enough carbon in the steel to create a martensitic structure in the metal.

Bit of a grind bit of a paint no-one will know

    Cheers Sketchy.
Shit been a while since I have looked at a phase diagram. But on inspection it only possible to create martensite above 0.68% C (And lack of time for the carbon to diffuse out into cementite). So you are right.

I will go with the paint only option I think. A bit of extra material never hurt anyone.

A couple of quick clips of the high school sidecars in action today.

The local Fielding lads battling out the front.
