But this aint the first time this has happened . . In fact the first estate albert grove ? E1 was made by slum clearances with no compensation

In fact so were most if not all of the train stations

Me . . My thoughts would be i wonder how much rent they would collect on a smoking ruin

Or how much they would lose if they modernised the place but no one wanted to live there .

    Just sayin

Tis what happens when ya need to get rid of them noisy wapscallions from next door. Cynical maybe, but fucksake some people grow old way before their time.

Rent. Bet there's an LAQC equivalent for that sort of shit.

They'd flattened a place where I used to live in Glasgow the last time we went back. Green grass there the noo and the posh houses approaching rapidly. Even the car yard out the back has gone. Shame as it made the occasional nice fire.

No doubt you do. Everyone I know's a wanker... but they're all I can attract.
See, there it is. Brighter they are, the brighter they are, it isn't opposite world. It is not a limitation, bright people disagreeing with you should give you the hint maybe you are wrong (might be a difficult concept to entertain I know).
We all need improving. Creativity is not limited by I.Q. quite the opposite in fact. Creativity in the actual sense of the word, to create things within this reality. While you may consider things like the money free party creative, nothing of note has actually been created because the theoretical underpinnings are lacking; you can imagine how good it could be all you like, but that is not creating anything.

You don't think I've considered that I'm out of my mind barking mad after 6 years (on and off) of thinking about it? Dear boy.
I know what creativity is. I am practicing it.
The so called theoretical underpinnings are of your own making. Why? Because I have a solution for them, and in my solution people understand the benefits by far outweigh the negatives and therefore do the very thing that has been suggested. That suggestion could come from you, Ocean, Oscar, Akzle, Ed, Katman, Mom, CC, Husabang, unstuck, Madness, James Deuce, HITCHER, yokel... anyone, and the suggestion stands in its own right. Just in case you missed the point there, I ain't the lord almighty, there is no it's my way or the highway etc... tis just doing the best we can without the vast array of negative outcomes that a financial system hamstrings us with.

That is what Stupid World is to me. In that context, you guys are lulz.

Clearly not enough, the FRB discussion was an example of that, you came in with preconceived ideas that were beaten back through application of logic and reality, but then your arguments retreated into the more abstract simply because you decided the cost of changing your mind was to great; that barrier to learning was too high for you to overcome.
You are practicing imagination, as evidenced by your conclusion that the underpinnings are all my own making. You have not created anything, as the creation of the thing you strive for would dispel all doubts I might have about it. I can imagine a reality in which artificial gravity, space travel, and all such things are possible, and it can make perfect sense within this imagined reality, but unless its underpinning are grounded in ours, it is not practical. And the only way to show this, is to create. So I ask, what have you created? not imagined, created!

Until you gain an objective view based in this reality, you will remain as stupid in this world; no matter how high you hold yourself in your own fairyland.

I believe the Venus Project have used crowd funding and who knows, it may well lead to an R.B.E.

Doesn't this shit actually already exist tho... So you're not so much imagining a reality as you are imagining within reality.

Also with the whole "intelligence" thing, a genius with his head in the ground is less useful that an idiot experimenting.
I don't care how intelligent someone is if they're not willing to look outside some arbitrary defined parameters they might as well be an imbecile.
Intelligence doesn't stop anyone from being blind
