Actually, yes. But I figured out why - it's because I had everything set to when I was in the states last. Nevertheless, I could find that Z station again - with perhaps only one or two "unplanned detours" on the way!

Well myself, Scott, Zippo and another will be there tonight.

Might someone want to ring the bar and request them to stay open?

How many people would be eating a meal? (more than just chippies)

Ridge Road sounds like a great option. It's not too long so we'll have time to do some stuff in the car park and it's twisty enough to be enjoyable and let one work on conering at slow speeds (looking where you want to go, working the throttle, being relaxed and getting the right lines). I vote for Ridge Road too.

I don't think it will necessarily be a woman (it'll most probably be Phil). Stop being sexist!

I don't see what people's obsession with that road is. It's dangerous. It's covered in pine needles and has driveways up the entire length. It's the only road I've seen with a 30km speed limit that's not temporary.

NASS is meant for learner riders and that is not a learner route at all. The guy that's coming along with Scott has only been riding his bike for a month, and not sure if he's even taken it on the motorway yet!!

There are 6 other evenings a week you could take that road if you so like, so why choose it on a NASS night that is designed and intended for learner riders. It's like if I wanted to go for a high speed blat I wouldn't expect to do so at NASS.

I for one will not be taking it. And will be taking the customary route to the carpark to practice slow speed skills, which is generally the intended reason people come to NASS.

So L platers are not allowed to learn how to ride a harder road?

Sounds ok if you ride it at your own pace, its fine, day light and plenty of stuff to practice your observational skills and low speed
cornering, a good mental hurdle for you too by the sounds, just think it through before u start and ride your own ride.

Exactly. Those that don't end up in the hedge.
