So you think ACC should just give you a questionnaire and accept your answers as "proof" without any checking? When the doctor examines an injury don't they poke it whilst asking "does it hurt here?", "How about here?", "On a sale of one to ten how much does ...THAT.....hurt".
Has the doctor ever told you'll feel a prick? How long did you feel a prick after he told you?

Good points, had not thought about it that way. Shame the pain increase for 2 days after doing the test was so radicall. And NO re a written test and no proof, as they had already sent me to a surgeon in Auckland who has stated that he would not operate on me, as he could either fix me for ever or leave me in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. Haha re the scale test, as that is exactually what went down whilst I was doing the test as well as wearing a heart rate monitor that showed heart rate spikes when doing the things they asked me to which caused more pain and the spikes in my heart rate

What about "sale of 1 to 10" ? I guess having your prostate checked whilst prostrate would be more painful than on your side with your knees raised...but any anal probing, whether when prostrate, or to examine prostate isn't the most comfortable thing in the world.
