If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
I wasn't at Wanganui that year but saw the last races at Ruapuna instead when Jeff Sayle wrapped up the title. They were great days for racing in this country.
As for Croz I can't say I remembered he had a tooth missing then - funny things you see on the videos eh!

Last race of the day & Hansford was on fire. He rode the wheels off that 250, great to watch
interesting, rants about unsafe street circuits, organising clubs, and sidecars dropping oil, I thought those things only started with the internet and kiwibiker,
