On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

10 million euros per year would make some changes to our lifestyle tho Gaz. Put your 40 bucks to good use and have a great Christmas.......
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

If the Spanish tax regime is so punitive that people with money move out that seems self defeating. A motorcyclist friend of mine visited Spain last year, he said that there was a lot of talk of recession and hardship but all of the luxury shops like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci etc were doing a roaring trade.

IIRC there are several English speaking WSBK and GP riders based in Andorra, including Smith. So too is Kiwi Simon Crafar who said it's a great place with good medical and education systems and that his kids were learning four languages: they learned Spanish and French at school, spoke Catalan locally, and English in the home.

I stayed at Simon's place when we were in Andorra (we went trail riding with Mike W.).
The funny thing is, as you get closer to the border on the Spainish side, the roads get shittier as the Spanish Govt. won't maintain them - they are very unhappy about the amount of income and sales tax they lose through Andorra. Something like 10m people visit the place each year and only about 10% spend more than a day - it's basically busloads of Spanish and French pensioners on day trips to buy duty free booze and fags.

There's also a legend about a village in Spain a 100m from the border, where the entire population pisses off up the road to Andorra when the Spainish Tax Collector turns up.

    The riding was great, too...

    No MotoGP on Sommet:

    Sommet Sports
    20 mins ·

    PRESS RELEASE 12 December 2014

As at 12.00pm today free-to-air sports channel Sommet Sports will cease transmission.
Launched 18th July 2013, Sommet Sports has delivered both live and pre-recorded sports on Freeview Channel 14, and Sky Channel 69. Funding initially understood to be available for the channel upon launch had largely never materialised and Sommet has been forced to attempt to deliver a full nationwide broadcast channel on one third of the finance.
“I am totally gutted at not being able to sustain something that we have long held a fervent desire to deliver to New Zealanders. Sommet was born from a dream to deliver free sports to all kiwis. Sadly this dream is not to be.” says Andrew Reeves, Director of Sommet Sports Ltd. “We have been blown away by the amazing support and consistently growing viewership that we gained in such a short time. We can only thank our loyal fans who have stayed with us until the end.”
“Being the ‘new kids on the block“, we also struggled to gain a strong foothold with most advertising agencies. This coupled with an acute funding shortage has left us with the sad reality of having to make the difficult call.”
“I would like to thank OMD, Spark, McDonalds, KFC and Fiat Chrysler group for their support and belief in our vision of delivering ‘Free Sports for Kiwis’ “.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Nice Oscar, the country side has a Nu Zulland look to it, if you ignore the stone work bridges and buildings ?
Water has a clean look to it.
Even if we can't move to these places, we're able to visit them I suppose.

We have a 4 year rotation for the gp website between us. Haven't had any issues yet. Occasionally someone logs on and you get booted off. I have heard some subscriptions have been cancelled for doing that

The tracks were very rocky, very sharp bits sticking out.
I'd love to have another go.
