Thumbs up 3rd Central Plateau Scooter Challenge 2015

    Saturday 21st March, 2015

The Central Plateau Scooter Challenge is an endurance ride from Wanganui to Taupo, crossing the summit of the Rangipo Desert (1074m), a journey of over 270kms to raise funds for Hospice Wanganui, all on 50cc.
Entry is free to ride in the Central Plateau Scooter Challenge, provided you fundraise a minimum of $20.

The Challenge is not a race – it’s an awareness-raising and fundraising event for the patients and their families. By raising funds for Hospice Wanganui we are helping them continue their support of patients with life limiting illnesses, ensuring they and their families live every moment.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, suggestions or would like to offer your support or sponsorship, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

If I still have the scooter, I will be there. or might even beg borrow or steal someones 50 and do the ride anyway. Last year was a blast. Just a shame that many who pledged donations never fronted up.

Last year was a blast because folk like you made it so

It's a feel good, do good for others, hard, but fun day and it's gratifying how many great folk get off their .... and on their scoots for it. So come on folk, register and start planning to make it another worthwhile challenge.
