Ooh I LIKE! certainly a multistrada competitor.

They are on a roll. For a adventure type bike that XR even looks OK physically. Most just turn me off - hey I'm a visual guy it's the way I am.

There was a guy in the States turning a 900 Hornet into one - had XR something front end etc etc.

I stood next to a fully kitted GS BMW the other day. The sales man must have thought I was keen (he mistook the dropping of my jaw in shock at it's size as desire) he changed his mind when I asked where the ladder was......... funny thing sales, see he gave up then, but in that situation I'd have steered me towards one of their smaller bikes for a perve or at least ask what I was interested in/rode etc - get the bike chat going.

Or he should have told you about the low seat option on those. For all brands of those bikes the seat height does limit their market unlike the dual purpose bikes from the late 70s/80s which were never a problem to get on.

they are HUGE...I am 6 3 and rocked up one day to test ride a few BMWs .I had my r 100 gs and that seemed large when i first got on it,but those gs adventures are another level.They ride nicely enough but the visuals dont sorta match how they ride

XR750 is where it first appeared on a Harley Davidson in 1970. I think the first Honda XRs appeared in about 1980.

Power isn't up though. Mine had same hp figures.
It always felt like it had more than 125. Maybe it just had near that at any rev.

That OP pix is the r1200r? The r9T has wire wheels and single seat.
