I'm not so sure, could be the ricochet from passing through the skull - it did appear the muzzle was level with his head when the shot was fired.

If anything was to sway me that it was fake - that would be the first thing - I didn't expect blood straight away (a La Hollywood) but certainly would have expected to see a pool of blood forming

If anything was to sway me that it was fake - that would be the first thing - I didn't expect blood straight away (a La Hollywood) but certainly would have expected to see a pool of blood forming

I could understand it if it was just a bit of flesh being hit with that velocity and range, but a head shot, nah. Would have been a mass of tissue and bone spraying out along with the projectile. Know fuck all about guns though. Just that I am not allowed near them.

someone with more knowledge of Ballistics and bullet mechanics will probably need to comment - my understanding was that if the bullet doesn't fragment and travels through the body at a high velocity then the entrance and exist wounds can be very clean (small holes) which could account for the lack of the hollywood style headshot blood everywhere

but as I said - I am not an authority on this (don't have my firearms licence yet)

Not people - but I would like to go Hunting after I have applied for my firearms licence - I understand that pigs are a good analog for the effects of bullets on humans (I seem to remember a documentary about field medics training how to treat people by shooting pigs and then operating on them)
