I've bought brand new Shoei in NZ and Uk and both seem same to me. I think where the problem might be is where the imperial/metric maths corrupts the conversion into s,m,l,xl,xxl etc....
Revzillas glove size charts are sweet too.
I was in Andorra and I needed a helmet and after trying several shops for a cheapie (as I was gonna leave it there), everything was too small. I got so frustrated that I figured that I could buy the exact same helmet (Shoei) in the exact same size (XL) as I had in NZ. It didn't go near fitting.

    S. M, l, xl, xxl's can be misleading, as the base sizing for these varies depending on the part of the globe your on. An xl in Bangkok is probably not the same as one in the US. Using an actual measurement (metric or Imperial) as on Revzilla's site is the way to go.

That sounds like NZ Post, I've never had good experience with them getting stuff to the Main Land under a week.

Got some "adventure pushies" parts from http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/nz/en
Four and half days to NZ and wayyyy cheaper even than T7, plus I'm getting pissed at the lack of choice at T7 and specials where its only small sizes or obscure stuff....

fc-moto rocks! New helmets, worth every euro.

A new helmet arrived by courier this morning. Well, one of them did.
I now have a Blauer Loft Helmet, it is great!
It comes with pinlock visor, two bags and it is very well made. Bloody good price too from fc-moto
    $271 NZD! on sale..
    Delivery was only 6 days!

The second helmet is the Caberg Tourmax Sonic. It is on the way and should be here Monday.
Great deal and I couldn't justify the $599 here when fc-moto has it for less than $324....

Both my Arai and Airoh are old now...they were overdue for replacement.

Helmets are exempt duty but curious if customs hit you with GST or not? seems like sometimes you get asked to pay it sometimes ya don't?

Nothing...two seperate orders, both under $335 odd...well under for one.
I know it has been thrashed before, but the price was hugely different to NZ cost for a Caberg.

My Caberg Tourmax should arrive next week. No GST charged (package under NZ$400) but even if I paid GST it would still be more than $200 cheaper than buying locally.
There is over $250 to be saved buying from fc-moto compared to buying from the NZ sites.
For the sake of $50 I'd rather buy local, but for $250+ I'm sorry but the local seller misses out.

What shipping option/cost did you guys use???

Some sites can charge your credit card direct in NZ dollars too which can throw off the money grabbers... think one of the photo places was like that in USA, so technically you haven't purchased overseas....
Wanted an iridium visior of FC but the shipping made it same price as here so aborted!

No choice with fc-moto. It is cheap and quick! The prices above included landed costs delivered to the door.

Because of the relatively high cost of an OEM iridium visor for my Shoei, I bought a Hong Kong knock-off through eBay. That was a couple of years ago and from memory, it cost about NZ$50 delivered. I was pleasantly surprised with its quality - perfect fit and has resisted scratching just fine so have bought a couple more in the intervening period. The only downside is that they don't come with Pinlock mounting holes. Not a real issue as I used my OEM clear visor as a jig and drilled holes in them to take a Pinlock. I've found the amount of light they let through varies depending on the colour of the iridium coating. Light blue lets in the most light, silver is the next best and rainbow effect is the darkest.

Got my Caberg Tourmax today - tried it out on a quick blat down town, seems comfy. Definitely a decent helmet for ~$320 total landed cost.
I'm planning on purchasing again from fc-moto, quick & efficient service and the shipping cost is somehow cheaper from Germany than from USA.

Got a set of Summer Alpinestar gloves on their way to me from USA. Should arrive next week. Can't get this model here unfortunately. Understandable really if you think of it - how many of the population buy motorcycle gloves, then specific summer gloves, then Alpinestars? Some shit must sit on the shelf for ages.

For the record I looked around first - did not find what I was after.
