Lots of overseas drivers use the left foot, you can see the brake on while accelerating, as well as the rear tail light. And quite often in a panic they end up in the shrubbery.

hence the practise of E braking at Sass is a good thing, repetition breeds automatic response and familiarity with how the bike responds and what you can do next.

noticed how you didn't rest with your hand op last time. But good luck with the leg. Take it easy.
MOST IMPORTANT GET ACC NUMBER. In case something else happens later.

i am just starting to reuse my foot and shoulder and it's been a couple of months since my second accident. It's coming back to full use, takes longer when your older.

it will be tailored for each rider to take their own assessment and see what they can do. 300k won't be a fixed point but rather a goal for most mere mortals.

i don't think you will achieve yours..... Watch this space......

let us us know when you are coming as I will have to make special arrangements to be at SASS for the next while. I am doing another personal bike challenge, in the next couple of weeks.

Rest up man, a break is usually never a bad thing.

I should be there tomorrow. If Rob isn't there and someone wants to be followed and filmed on the ride then let me know.

Ditto, my camera is always on :-)

Did maraetai -clevedon-hunua-kura-clevedon maraetai loop saturday avo, found the corners kinda flow better going from clevedon to hunua than the other way, got a good amount of lean on, loving the sticky tyres, getting them scrubbed in real nice now. Keen for tuesday :-)

I always thought the opposite about those roads.

What tyres did you end up getting in the end? From memory you badly needed new ones..!

So you're putting a 'brake' on SASS...

    And this is a 'break'...?

Seriously though, take care and hope both will get cured...

Go away on a cruise with Sharry? I hear any cruise longer than 4 days will soon cure any exhaustion (apparently gets boring after a few days?).

Having a quiet night tonight as tomorrow night will be a big one. Doc unsure on the leg, so I have to leave it a week.

Did a 250k ride with Sharry on the back of the B12. Was fun and we are both more cumfy by a long shot. But was dragging toes, pegs and the centre stand. New shock gets picked up a bit later in the week.

unless you have an extra left hand brake? they exist but mostly for racing. Or have one of the older bikes with the brake on the left (Sis do you remember those?)

Not just for the track either or racing, its about control and not letting the bike coast when you want to brake. Think about it.

and Rossi is for the track. You don't see Rossi on the road.

Maybe some of you don't understand.
You can brake and blip the throttle at the same time , lock up your left arm a bit and use your Palm the thumb to control throttle . I have big hands which help abit .lol yes XXL gloves for me .

brake then blip = YES, otherwise bike rolls forward under no control and front rises as drive is lost. causes all sorts of hassles for a noob.

Palm - Sounds good, i will give it a wurl, thanks.

Still think adjustable levers would help too. going to have to visit a bike shop, i guess.
bike in pieces been adding some more light.......
going in for service may need bigger battery and alternator, or extra cylinder for light generator.
about time i fitted a LASER to the front.

yeah thats what I have on my bike.

Remember to write down the pressures so you have a record. Check tyre pressure regularily. My tyres loose pressure when left for a few days.

they are great tyres in the wet. Doesnt take much to warm up. Check tyre temp each time you ride, gives you some idea about grip.

So much HP on the Scorpio LOL, I dont expect to wear out soon, just creating shoulders on the rear due to no countersteering.

Sounds like you are getting your bike sorted.
