    Angry Had my first crash

Two weeks ago I had a lapse of judgment. Im extremely angry with myself as it was easily avoidable.
I glanced at a couple of bikers coming towards me and by the time I looked back there was a corner that was far too close for me to do much about.
As well as severely damaging my pride I also fractured my back, bruised a lung, tore a whole bunch of muscles on my left side and various other bruises, scrapes and sprains.
On top of this I did a good deal of damage to my zxr400 which Im rather fond of.

Im posting this as a reminder to BE FUCKING CAREFUL!!!! I was lucky but it wouldnt have taken much to be a lot worse

    Regards
    Jono

Btw if anyone has a zxr400 L parts bike or bits kicking around please let me know

make that your last crash as well.....
    hope you recover completely
You will find your bike bits if you give it some time...

Hey Zeus! If that is the scale of damage to yourself you managed with your first one I recommend not having a second.

Most corners can be taken a lot faster than you think if you have to.
I thoroughly recommend you check out the NASS thread and the acc funded courses.

Heal well, fix your bike then: Rubber side down, shiny side up.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.

Probably not much use but I have a ZZR400 engine complete with zorst, loom etc.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

Sounds exactly like the crash out the back of Helensville that I stopped to lend a hand.

We pushed your ride up the road into the driveway with the barrier-arm.
Have you got the bike back yet? Surprised about your back injury from it! Get well soon buddy.

What pisses me off the most is that i probably could have got round fairly easily if i hadn't panicked.
Ill be looking into them when I get the bike back on the road

If it's only cracked it can probably be repaired. "The Reibz" on here could fix it for you.
    Ciao Marco

ZZR motor is completely different anyway

Good luck getting parts, the UK has plenty of ZXR bits (I'm after a few H1 bits myself)

Yup. A simple mistake with a bit of distraction. I laughed when the cop pulled up and skidded on the loose chip on the intersection. He then proceeded to park right in the middle, making it awkward for every other road user.
Hopefully you blew a zero reading and he will not be sending anything to you in the mail?
