Meh - according to the paper yesterday they still get a quarter mill each just to turn up tonight. Obviously some of them are in a hurry to spend it in the shops.
Aussie - all out for 125. You read it here first.
Anyone still watching???

Best of the rest - once again - we must change our comfort zone - semi finals are just that - semi!
Urban dictionary:
semi
Not quite an erection, but getting there.
When I saw Milla Jovovich's boobies I got a semi.
Simply a chance to harden up!
We (NZ) must learn to HARDEN UP and fuck the world!![]()
Day night rules - 50 over matches.
3.8 Use of lights
If in the opinion of the umpires, natural light is
deteriorating to an unfit
level, they shall authorize the ground authorities
to use the available
artificial lighting so that the match can continue
in acceptable
conditions.
I just wonder why during games when the shadows hit the pitch (like MCG CWC final) that the lights are not requested to even the lighting out?
This is not a grizzle it is a question that always springs to mind during these games.
Most of the damage to NZ by Australia was during this phase of the shadows and bright light as the sun began setting.
This thought crossed my mind when NZ chose to bat - I do not know the CWC rules on this but Google gave me the above rule quote.
Does anybody know the answer?

ICC (CWC) home link: http://www.icc-cricket.com/home - I guess that the CWC is run under standard ICC conditions. NZ could have appealed for the lights to be on!
FFS!
FYI I am happy that the better team won - I am just curious about the shadows and light factor during late afternoon games at these stadiums!
If you look at the conditions (rules) for these games it appears that the players can appeal to the umpires for lights! - why don't they?
My question is whether or not it makes any difference at that stage of the day? - I don't know and am asking if anyone else does?
150km ball coming out of the light into the shadows (and vice versa) in only 10 meters is a lot for an eye to make adjustments!
Curiously that is the period most damage was done on Sunday - same but opposite from the other end - no complaints - we won the toss and chose to bat first!
Was watching a 1st 15 rugby tournament today and yesterday - they never played to the conditions and field layout to their advantage!
Wonder what the coaches are thinking about? - been there and done all that long ago - used to work OK for us!
I think its going to make the next few years and the next cup interesting. They should be hungry to reach another final.
I hope the result gets us some more cred and some higher level games with a few bigger visiting tours.
