Bikers became soft? Not sure what you base this on. Interesting comment. Loads of winding up on this thread, made for some entertaining light reading on a rainy day with the bike in the garage. I'm far to soft to ride in the rain. I'm soft because who would want to hard? Only a man should get hard, if you know what I mean.
Bikers are just people who happen to ride motorbikes. Some do it better than others, some are useless, but they have to start somewhere. They will progress their riding skills the more they ride.
Anyway, who are you to judge whether a person is soft or not? Have some respect and worry about yourself. I'm over the nastiness that some people spout out, if you can't say anything helpful or constructive then shut the fuck up.
