I was more meaning the heavy taxing of the Corporations.
I note also they do tax the high earner heavily.
They also own the smelters the gas and oil companies the power companies the mineral companies all the stuff we seem hell bent on selling off.
Supposedly if you want to see a ghost town have a look at an office at 4.01pm there will be no one there. food for thought........

Shame I don't speak Norwegian. Yeah yeah, I can barely manage English
It's not that odd when you consider that the European Parliament has certain legislative jurisdiction in their member states.

Norway is not part of the EU I think......
The only words you need to know is "Cold" although they likely have a hundred or so words for it.

Norway and the EU enjoy good and close relations, although Norway is not a member of the European Union. The Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA) is the mainstay of our cooperation, and it ensures that Norway takes part in the EU internal market. We are also part of the Schengen Agreement and cooperate with the EU on foreign and security policy issues.

Wasn't saying it was, I was just drawing a familiar parallel where you were saying such an arrangement seemed odd.

Mashy What I was referring to as being odd was the treaty that lets us use the resources with special privileges.

In the EU, some foreigners have more than the same rights as those who are EU natives. So it's pretty poor really

well, yesterday my work gave us all 3% more in our pay packet. Not the most amazing news on the planet, but 3 is twice the cpi, so I'm bloody ecstatic.
These are employers of long standing, whose workers are all bloody good at what they do and actually do a days work for their crust.
Looking forward to a long career here.
    Happy? Oh yeah.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
