wondered how high you would be going. We were going to only put one bid on, but changed our minds last night (alcohol did not influence that, but it was consumed lol) Surprised no one else did bid, but glad for the new rider/swinger - they will do well and get good use out of it)

Good on ya, would have felt a bit bad stealing away a sidecar from the only part of the country that still runs them in earnest!

Lol, was wondering that, too, and you're lucky I emailed the new swinger last night to inform what was going on, and got a keen response

I cant believe how tight bucket racers are. surely its worth more than that?

I just stole that at that price, the problem is that sidecars are still a sideshow as far as most of the bucket guys are concerned. Everybody that we have put on one has loved it, but once they start thinking about the logistics involved in moving and storing them, most people back away.
This one is going on long term / permanent loan to a couple who I feel confident will turn up most of the time.
My biggest fear was that somebody would buy it, use it once and then hang it from the roof of a shed never to be seen again. There aren't enough around at the moment for them to be going into retirement.
