MotoGP - Valencia Round recommendations?

Team - after thoughts from those in the know about the Valencia round of the MotoGP. A few Q's:

1) Which of the Grandstands are best for catching the action? (Note - will have my wife, 2 year old and 4 month old (yet to be born at this present time) with me.)

2) Are there screens well located around the circuit for keeping up with the race?

3) What are the "must-do's" for the race weekend around Valencia?

Any other thoughts? Keen for thoughts also on the 'to do's' for that region of Spain generally as well. Looking to take 4 maybe 5 weeks.

Hey there Mate! First of all...awesome decision! Valencia is a fucking fantastic city, and the GP is fucking awesome! I went there with Rach back in 2010. The main stands opposite the pits (green or Red) are fantastic...you can see the complete track from there...no need for big screens. Take CASH. Funnily enough, I normally always use cash, but the first day we went there I paid the taxi with folding and got caught out big time.

Take the train. It's a 500m walk to the lil station. Wear mirrored sun glasses so your Mrs doesn't know when you're perving at the gorgeous Spanish chicks.

If you're into architecture all of Spain is incredible. But make sure you get to Barcelona to check out Gaudi's work. If you don't speak any Spanish...try and learn a wee bit. No cunt there speaks English (fair enough too). Sure at the big hotels etc etc...but I was surprised that more peeps didn't speak English.

I'm jealous. Can't wait to go back and see more of Spain.

I went in 2011, and it was amazing, can not really recomend any grandstands as i just moved around the circuit during the day, and having a hospitality pass was very good,

Valencia itself is very nice, and as Pete puts above, Barcalona is well worth the trip,

ditto pete, I find it harder to get round in Spain as opposed to Italy.
Learn a little is good advice.
Also like Catalunya, the costs involved are a lot less. 3 , or as it used to be (4 day) Montmello was 57 Euro from memory where's Italy is 150-160 Euros !!!!!

Cheers for the input guys. Will re-assess seating/Grandstand options. Will be spending a few weeks looking around Spain generally - have already spent a bit of time in Barcelona, but keen to spend some more. I speak a little spanish, although need a HUGE amount of practice, so hopefully that will help. Going to have 4 or 5 weeks total, so should be a great trip.
