One world
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a proposed free trade agreement between the European Union and the United States. Proponents say the agreement would result in multilateral economic growth,[1] while critics say it would increase corporate power and make it more difficult for governments to regulate markets for public benefit.[2][3] The American government considers the TTIP a companion agreement to the Trans-Pacific Partnership.[4] After a proposed draft was leaked in March 2014,[5] the European Commission launched a public consultation on a limited set of clauses and in January 2015 published parts of an overview.[6]
An agreement is not expected to be finalized before 2016.[7]

Spain is holding its own - and doing better than a lot of other EU countries canīt see it leaving the Euro any-time soon. Lending vast sums of money to the Greeks was like giving a teenage girl a store credit card. They borrowed the money and blew it all "living the high life" and now they canīt pay it back. Is it wreckless lending or wreckless spending? Either way pushing a country further into debt to pay off a debt doesnīt seem to make sense.
Best thing for boom and bust economies like Greece is to have their own currency, at least that way when the shit hits the fan tourism and exports stand a chance of digging them out. Even though the Greek economy is in tatters its still not a cheap place for tourists to holiday in or expats to buy property.

Yeah . . No
You are right about greece having their own money
Under rhe current eu sanctions against russia greece cannot export to its main customer . Russia
Anyway
Spain isnt greece but spain is about1 trillion in the hole with about 25 percent unemployment
Off top of head
Greece I agree with you to some extent but
Kpmg , sorry im on train using phone so will correct later
Kpmg audited greece in order to get them into the eu
The audit failed to show systemic problems with greek economy
Jp morgan i think was also in there lending money
Now greece is a small country and the debt repayment was high
So in order to repay the debt one should cut spending
On public services such as pensions . . Trains etc . . .
Can ya see the problem now
No government is going to cut the pension to oldies
See the debate in nz at the moment
So in order to meet social services greeks borrowed
Untill there was a point at which the lenders said no
Greece was hung out to dry
Greece owes 350 billion? Spain owes at least a trillion or more
Greece is bankrupt and gone from the eu
All the news u hear is window dressing disney news for sheep
The next is either italy spain or portugal
Probably spain

I disagree - Spain has made some good gains - its not leaving the EU anytime soon. Spain GDP/government debt is now at 93.9% (more or less the same as France) vs Greece 175%. Unemployment in Spain is still high at 23% but it is dropping. By no means are things "great" but they arenīt Greece/EU split-tingly bad.
