Auckland Buckets Round 8 (not) and AMCC prizegiving/AGM date

Well ... the weather gods were not so kind to us on Sunday and in the end we cancelled the event through mutual consent. Our thoughts are with Erica who dislocated her collarbone rather painfully.

So the final results of the 2014-2015 championship stand as at the end of Round 7. You can see the results on Mylaps here: http://www.mylaps.com/en/championships/31443

So of course that brings us to the PRIZEGIVING!!!

The Auckland Motorcycle Club prizegiving and AGM is coming up fast! It's on Saturday the 4th of July at 6pm at the AMCC clubrooms at 6 Findlay St Ellerslie.

It would be great to see a bunch of bucket racers there, and especially the prizewinners of course. Congratulations to the following riders who will be receiving trophies at the prizegiving:

    Dylan Byrne
    Dean Conway
    Gary Cunningham
    Nathanael Diprose
    Rick Ford
    William Foster
    Tim Fraser
    Blair Lambarth
    Brenton Love
    Nick Olson
    Ben Van Den Berg
    Gavin Veltmeyer
    Robert Willis
    Henk Zeeven

We hope you've enjoyed the season (the last round notwithstanding) and we hope to see lots of you at the prizegiving on July 4.

    Tim

I got Rick to do the hard part, all I had to do was hang on. I also bought the closest completions equipment to take them out of the equation for the last round.

    Hi all,

I must offer my sincere apologies to Dylan and Paul Byrne and to Terrene and Rod Gibson. Due to a quirk of the electronic timing system, and a failure on my part to check carefully enough, the results on the Mylaps website for the 2014-2015 season are incorrect in one important respect. Mylaps shows Dylan in 3rd place in C-Grade with Terrene Gibson in 4th place, both on 134 points. In fact, Terrene just snuck home in 3rd place on a countback of race results.

Again I'm sorry for any confusion this has caused. Dylan won the last C-Grade race of the season and is moving to B-Grade next season. I'm sure he'll continue his excellent progress.

I hope to see a bunch of you at the AMCC prizegiving on July 4!
