The significant issue was not the issuing of a fake search warrant - even if Crusher Collins makes that her main point ...

From here .. http://m.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/arti...ectid=11452950 This also includes Justice Collins full judgement.

A High Court judge suggested the police "probably" broke the law by faking a prosecution against an undercover officer to boost his credibility with a gang.
They did not just fake a search warrant, the police arrested and charged their undercover officer to "give him credibility" with the Red Devils ... Justice Collins said this would "undermine the public confidence in the criminal justice system".

The police have played fast and loose with the court system - manipulating it for their own ends.

Is it any wonder that the courts are fucked off with them ?

There is a seperate argument that goes along the lines that if the police are being hampered by the law when trying to enforce, then the law may need to be updated.
Yes, that's true. But any freeing up of the law will also free up the law for the non-police as well. A very slippery slope ..

I just read a headline that said Judith Collins claims she was the victim of a smear campaign.

I was like fuck off, those camera lenses actually do with a shitload more Vaseline smeared on them when taking pics of her.

I fail to see how this is possible... does anyone have "confidence" in this system anymore???

As for Police breaking the law... That's just "a day in the job" for NZ's biggest criminal gang & terrorist organisation (by definition)

I think you would find that the vast majority of sheeple out there do have confidence in the system ... misplaced confidence maybe but confidence none-the-less

I think you missed the point were the crown dropped a lot of the charges because of warrants issues.

The crown did so why then is the faith misplaced?
Pretty sure that Gang the police were going after were not the boy scouts were they?

That said Collins is still a old ax that has no right to the honourable title.
Barely a step up from Banks or Pansy Wong imo.

The worst thing about this mess is it has directed attention away from the bikie fuckwits that were yet again involved in drugs/firearms. "Just another bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts", that's the real lie.

No I didn't - at least they got that bit right ...

Because they tried it on with other charges .. and they took a long time to drop the false charges against their flea ... even after warrants for arrest where issued because of his non-appearance in court .. a clear abuse of the court processes.

Not even close to boy scouts (girl scouts maybe, but those are different charges ...)

I don't believe it has - I think the general public accepts that these are very naughty people ... but we can't have the police breaking the laws they are sworn to uphold and to act in accordance with.

    .
Tried it on how so... I was suggesting they decided not to use the evidence obtained by these nefarious means in court.
As for abuse of the courts process well plenty of others do that play on the system as well. Not saying that excuses the police though but it is context.
