    Delkevic slip-on exhausts

Anybody tried a delkevic system on their bike.I ordered one for my X11 from the states and it has arrived on my doorstep 6 days later.Great service.
I was like a kid opening the biggest present there is on Xmas morning.:-)
Tomorrow I will fit it and report on my findings.

So do you run it without or with most of the time?

I have one on my Bandit 1200. Very happy with it. Quiet until about 7k rpm then it howls. I took the DB killer out.

    Nice bit of kit.

Well it only took a couple of hours to fit and most of that was figuring out the brackets as there was no instructions.Weight saving of at leas 10kg!
Seat of the pants shows no difference in power but the sound is fantastic. From a deep growl down low to howling in the upper revs.I will run them this week with the db killers in and remove them next weekend before taking it for a run.

Run a bit of high temp sealant around the pipe joins and let it set before running.

    Very nice!...like the delkevic pipes

Been eyeing up a new muffler for the VFR...its either going to be one of these, a Micron Hi mount or a Dan moto. (These three seem to like the V4 sound)

Yours looks very nice on the bike...much better than the stock (I imagine the weight dif is quite something)

I have dual under seat carbon fibre ones on my 06 VFR800...love them to bits, sound great and much lighter than stock. Paid NZD700 arrived within 6days from the UK...very happy with them
