It sold this morning. He just mailed me back 2 mins ago. I have asked him to contact me if he has collection issues.

    Makes sense.

    It was a compelling option.

Yes. Mailed him at 6pm hoping it would still be there but suspected he was 500+ cheap on his price and would be sold.

Its also on my watchlist and maybe if it was local and I could have a look at it and a ride I would consider it.
Personally idd like a big adventure bmw but wifes not liking that idea.
Its odd that the passenger is making some of the decisions but I guess I sold the hyper bike and bought a sports bike so its almost fair.

We got the Bandit only because of the pillion. ST1100 etc she couldnt get comfortable on. My bike kinda worked and kinda didnt.

The big Kwawka has some go along with comfort.

Adventure bikes are naff unless you go offroad. Kinda like a soccer mums 4x4.

That was a big consideration when i got my Ducati st, more riding time if Mrs is keen to come too, great 2up bike with excellent factory luggage, a bit out of your price range though
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Yeah. I sold the zx14r and bought an Agusta f4 which has almost no rear seat so I am after a cheap 2 up bike that's cheap insurance, that I can also take bike rallies loaded with gear. Also something I can park in town without worry that a scooter rider will scratch it in the over populated bike parks in Wellington.
A trump 1200 with factory luggage around 3k would be perfect but even a bandit style bike with pack rack and saddle bags would do the job.
I could adapt the trailer to suit anything with a solid back end if required but idd rather it sold and I had hard luggage.

The café racer just sold 4.25 but idd like save a grand of that towards an endure bike for summer.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

A BMW K100RS would be ideal.

I had one of those. Even had RT fairing installed by a previous owner.
Be perfect for a 2 up bike. Only cost me 1200 to buy also.

Theres a lot of bikes at the moment under 4k.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=915305046

Opinion bearing in mind I have a litre bike already. Rt would be heavy and lazy but could carry passenger and gear ok.

I have sent contact details to a lot of Bandit owners also.
