Theres a zx6r 2000 model at a superloans shop. Wonder what that will go for.
You may want a little play thing to match your 12.

Think these were based around the 1127 so you know these are strong as, I can only compare to the
GSXR1100K I had at the same time and found the SS so much more comfy/roomy and nicer to ride.

As for the crashed FJR i was thinking risers fat bars XJR headlight or something and no fairing, wouldn't dream of sinking big dollars to rebuild.

    Fun times

I have had a ss before and didn't like it. My knees hit fairings and was cramped for room especially with passenger.
Clash of lower leg length to bike ratio. I tried getting seat built up higher and still had issues.

The beemer is only 10mins away if you want someone to have a gander at it

Assembled, PD'd, & delivered a couple of 6s years back and think "gorilla on a tonka toy" 636 snub nose was nice piece of kit though just too small.

GS12ss definitely aren't a two-up bike for distance work.....pillion is perched up like a wind sock; that said, some pretty impressive wheelies can be had with the right person on the back

that one isn't flash & on the doggy end of the scale

Im going to leave the beemer thanks. I have sellers remorse on the café racer already.
Im going to go and look at the r1100rt today that's at turners.
Theres a triumph trophy 1200 in ChCh that I would buy but likely to go well above my budget.

Finding a lot of over priced bikes. Its like everyone is expecting bike shop prices for bikes that shops wouldn't trade in.

Down to 3 bikes at the moment.

Trumpet is likely to go over budget so its not likely to happen.

I found an old r80rt on another auction site. Called him because it was awesome and it had sold 2 months ago. GRRR

Everything else I have contacted people about is a bit overpriced and they wont reduce or has problems that arnt in the advertisement.

Thats not a bad looking Bandit. If you end up with it I can send you the stage 1 carb setup, easy as. Looks like it already has a Rider saddle which will be good for 2 up. I have a good trick to lower the pillions pegs as well that is very simple. Then chuck a Busa rear shock in and you are golden.
