My punt is the forks and shock will be stock. Busa shock sorts the spring rate for the back as well.
There is a gsxr1000 shock on tardme that's only 6 mm longer than bandit and 4mm shorter than busa which will fit standard dog bones and lift bike 30mm only which will still work for centre stand. Would that be an even better option?
    Its also a common fitment.

I looked for pipes and Yoshi rs3 is cheep enough when I have spare cash. Maybe ill do that when I have spare cash. I have a wish list for the F4 which will see spare cash first though.

Need go for first ride and see how bad the stock set up is also and if its still stock springy things.

Reason for the Busa one is it gives the right spring rate for 2 up where I think the GSXR one is better for solo. Mine works fine with the center stand.

My Busa shock was under $100. Very low Ks to.

Yeah mine was private. Dude swapped it out for a Ohlins when the bike was very young. He since sold the bike but kept the shock.

Nice. looked on ebay and it possible to get one landed around 160. Americans love to pay a lot for freight so UK ends up cheaper.

Cheaper again is go and ride a bike shop busa and do a shock swap.

Pic of the mod to lower the pillion pegs, this is the rough version but you get the idea. I have done it to mine and it works a treat.

It has to be about 330mm pin to pin. I know the gen 2 fit but is this gen 3?

Gen 1 shock is the common one to use. You can get the Gen 1 models rebuilt with no issues.

Ok bike delivered. 12month wof and 3 months rego all good. Tyres good. Loosest chain I have seen for a while. Move wheel back and all good with no tight spots.
Back suspension has more static sag than a pogo stick.
    Going to need sort that.

Installed a bag rack with home made bracket adaption. Think it was a rack for a Boulevard. I bought it a while ago because it was a dollar. 50litre top box is on its way.

Be careful with that rack just mounted there, have seen pics of the frame broken back there from running a rack just there.

Givi one goes to the front.

Nice looking bike. Get what I mean about the rear shock then?

Yep its got 35mm of static sag and almost no rebound.
Ill be sure not overload. Broken back sections are often overload or passenger using topbox as back rests.
Should be fine for sleeping bags etc and have panniers for heavy stuff.
Ill get a tanks bad also.
Like the thought of the big load without paint damage fears lol.

Well I can send you my one just like it and you can set up a twin shock Bandit......

Go the Busa shock. It just works. I can run the bike to the edges of the tyre 2 up no problem.

That fork mod I posted will be the go to.

Yeah ill likely get the 2014 busa shock just for the fact its 1 year old and only 20 dearer than the next option.
Been offered a gsxr1000 shock 330mm also for 85 which is tempting but spring looks light for 2 up with gear.
