Shocks on the must do. The exhaust and extra 10hp not so important as its tour and rallies and not so much for sporty rides.
I have a mid pipe already so if I see a great deal on a 2inch inlet pipe ill swap it at some point. I cant lower the passenger pegs on the stock pipe but wifey has already climbed on with no issues even though she was in a dress at the time. No Photos.

The seat will have her higher than stock so you may well not need it. One thing i did do was add a hand hold for her for down hill. Will get a pic tomorrow. Not much to hold on to back there. Was easy to make. My Missus spends most of her time with her hands on her lap but down hill that little extra helps so she doesnt slide into you.
Just found a couple of old pics. You get the idea on the exhaust brackets. As I say not pretty but works. Once a couple of other projects are done it will all get pulled off and cleaned up.
The little hand holds that come out are grind pegs off scooters....

Yeah thanks. Was looking at the site. Plenty of shock options and tuning info.
I thought a B-King shock would be a great option but sitting on the bike it feels like it could do with the 30mm tail lift of the busa shock.
It might be that im used to a much higher seat and lower bars.
I need the weather to clear so I can go for a good ride and see what is happening at the front end.
Going to need spring upgrade I would expect at the very least with the rear lifted it will impact on the front a bit more than it would at stock heights.

Must not spend a large sum on bike that's not going to see big lean angles.

Problem is once you start its hard to stop.
$50 fork mod this week just ends up becoming a gsxr750 modified head, lumpy cams plus some flat slides, a big bore kit plus a bottom end rebuild and a V&H complete titanium exhaust system and 190hp. Now the $50 fork mods not performing and ill be needing a L3 gsxr1000 front end and an extended swingarm plus a fat rear wheel and a penske drag shock and a nitro bottle with 2 stage squirt.
Need stop drinking now.
