nodrog should buy this it ends in 17mins and is nearly free. Carby class would be fun.

People say there's no need to scrub tyres. I've watched Stroud, Bugden, Shirriffs, Frost, Fitzgerald all cut a 1m10s lap from a stand still, with the sticker still on their brand new slicks. The releasing agent is gone after a warm up lap on anything...I still fucken hate it though.

Reads nodrod would like a free ride.

Risky stuff racing on a bike you don't own though.

They are good now but the odd good rider goes down in that warm up lap every so often.

I went out on wets to scrub because the day was rain on off and I had already posty qualified on slicks. Was 3 classes away from first posty race and had started raining. Didn't want start a race in the wet on fresh ones with the long sitting time on the start they used to have. Assume its the same now.

The season we ran Holden on the alky GSXR1100, he caught us removing the release agent at the first meeting. Made us leave it on...
I could never watch the warmup lap - he simply rode it sideways. Best fun of the day he reckoned. Mad, quite mad...

Here is today's question: If you put a cape on a bike, say a GN125, would that make it a Super-Bike?

Come on, don't be an up giver, think about it hard.
What you have here is worlds greatest opportunity to make a world record sized cup of milo & sell it for $5 a cup.
Do the maths on the proportions of hot water & milk, find a retired milk vat, (shouldn't be hard in the 'naki) & set about figuring out how many people you will need to drink it & sign them up, $5 is a lot for a cup of milo, but bugger all to be part of a world record attempt. People love that kind of shit.
All you need is a place to stage it.
I'm sure fonterra would come on board with the milk & you could get sponsors.
There's a lot more to be made out of it that way than just flicking it off for cost price.
