Looks like Tech3 are happy to be top of the satellite teams/mediocre.

Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
For further insight into current Moto G.P. rider gumption-level..
Check their responses - to the idea of racing a real 500 G.P. 2T bike - instead of their sanitised diesel trucks..

& Casey Stoner is on record as stating - that he would return to racing - if - they had 2Ts to ride..
Funnily enough, the guys who have riddenthem are the most positive. Scott Redding did a weekend at Spa 2 years ago on Mid 90's RGV500 (Ex Schwantz or Beattie bike) in some parades of GP riders. Had his elbow down and loved riding it by the sounds of it....and Rossi of course.
The rest need a slap up the side of their head as they do sound a little "corporate" in their speak...
That's not coincidental. The riders and crew get that drummed into them. Yamaha had a tanty a couple of years ago and reminded all concerned including mechanics that there was a corporate communication policy. Alex Briggs had clamps put on what photos he could take. Not that I'da thunk he ever gave away any secrets.

Yeah saw that. And hey...good for him. He's improved bit by bit, each season. But for all of the fanbois...seriously...how good is he ever gonna get? This season...he's lucky to be in the position he's in. Hey may finish...what...7th if he's lucky? You as a team owner...would be happy with that? Good luck to you. Me? I'd rather find the next Stoner/MM/Maverick etc etc. After 3 seasons...Smith ain't it and never will be.
He's 5th at the mo, 2 points ahead of Dovi and 15 points clear of Pedrosa.
I would have thought that was a pretty fair result given the machinery.
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
In a similar vein - that of riders unappreciated by some KBers. I see Cal C has signed for another two years on the Honda. The bit I found most interesting was the term.
Smith signed for one year, apparently at his request, because all of the top riders contracts expire at the end of next year. Who made the best move will become apparent in time.
David Emmett reports that part of the hold up with Smith's contract was his concern that Pol Espagero was getting preferential treatment from Yamaha. Espagero was getting new parts that were not made available to Smith. This is not totally surprising, Espagero was contracted to Yamaha not to Tech3 like Smith. A meeting at Indianapolis apparently cleared the air - until the next new parts arrive for Espagero.
There were some concerning statistics recently, TV viewing numbers have dropped right away now that coverage in Europe is on pay TV. It was already difficult to get sponsors, that won't help.

Makes sense, looking at his history...
They say that most people only read headlines. I might have excluded myself from that but...

However, according to the small print you are indeed correct.

Part 3 of the Jack Miller interview:
http://www.bikeme.tv/index.php/category/video/
I like the way he doesn't even hesitate when asked which country has the hottest grid girls. His answer to the question which racer has the hottest girlfriend was interesting too.
You will gather from the above that this was not the most serious GP interview ever.
