    before you pick up an 8mm tap check the threads on the fitting, they have finer threads than normal so it'll probably mean getting a set of taps including bottoming tap of the correct thread size

    That's why I used the other calliper chaps. It's already tapped on both sides, so we're all sorted. No need for machined surface as I've got a tapered thread elbow fitting jammed in one side and a plug on the other.

    So as long as the chain doesn't foul on the plugged side, Robert's ya mother's brother.
