This is my single most favourite type of science:

'It works.... And we have no fucking clue WHY it works'

Warp drive or not, there are some truly interesting times ahead if we discover why this works - I suspect it will lead to a greater understanding of Space/The universe/Everything.

"A number of those discussing the plan on the technical forum claim to be Nasa engineers"

If I claim to be Saddam Hussain, does this make it so?

If they had that type of technology, they certainly would not be letting you and I know it. I do think the technology exists, just not sure if nasa are the ones who are doing the research.

Not as exciting as mashie's big adventure, but the small flotilla of posties I'm supposed to be looking after at levels next weekend is done and all running...

For how long and in what novel ways they can break, we're yet to see. Nevertheless, we start off hopeful...and moderately cheerful.

Eccentric, yes, lifts from one side and winds itself disengaged in one turn...But cheap and cheerful at the time.
Had a Mk4 KTT visiting last Monday night, we got quite cheerful...
