No but... It is at the discretion of the official to to seek proof of compliance. In this case everyone has had a weeks notice that proof is going to be sort and the way he is going to achieve this is by asking it to be brought to riders briefing.

FFS guys its a bloody $20 -$30 component that is simple common sense to have.
We have had a bike burst into flames on entering the pits this season and but for fast action with a fire extinguisher his bike would have gone home in a bag.

Nobody is arguing that fact that a fire extinguisher is required, and I will be making my passenger carry ours to riders briefing.

But where in the rule book does it say that it must be presented at riders briefing, and if its not you will be excluded from the meeting?

Saying that everyone was told last week doesn't mean anything.

What about the people that didn't attend last weeks meeting, will they be sent home when they don't produce an extinguisher at riders briefing?

I'm sure if they are, they will refer to their copy of the Moms to find the relevant section pointing out they cant compete because they failed to do something they didnt know about.

Days long ago spring to mind at the old Manfeild. The Stalls were tinder dry, dusty and old Hay everywhere. We were huddled in there tanks and carbs off jetting or whatever?
Petrol everywhere and smoking was bloody near compulsory !!!

Well I suppose the official could go along to his pit and ask to see it, then send him home when he doesn't produce it.
I know the whole of the racing fraternity doesn't frequent this forum but the word is getting out there using more than KiwiBiker as the mouthpiece. Social media exists in many guises. I'd suggest we all remind/advise whoever we know about this.

The back and white truth is - its in the rules and we all sign the entry form stating we are aware of the rules and willing to comply

And now we have OSH, red tape and bubble wrap to protect us all, oh and we are going to be a smoke free country down the track.

I'll go set a fire in the pits during riders breifing.....
It may be requested by a Clerk etc, but the rulebook states it to be in the riders pit.
Why then can Stewards/Clerk/Safety assistants randomly inspect the pits and check. Just the same as random name calls at riders brief?
If I was to go home for that 'offence' I'd simply protest the rule......

But then I'm just a cunt....
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

there is nothing in the rules stating you will be excluded from a meeting, for not presenting a fire extinguisher, that was talked about a week ago at another meeting.

Nope your right again, but the official has asked to see it. So your call on the day.

Me - I'll bring a fire extinguisher along. It'll take far less effort and time it has taken to argue on here about it, plus I get to race a motorbike

Gordie had to stop masterbating since her passing.
He's gotten nervous that she can now see him everywhere and anywhere, and he doesn't want his mum to think he's a wanker.
He did however tell Teenie that anal was still ok.
