Hey guys, I wont be out for a while, looks like the bike has done the head gasket, and after dropping it pulling out of a gravel carpark Monday evening last week tied with the serious overheating issues and the dumping coolant,I think I might be ringing the insurance company

More of an annoyance really. It was basically a stationary topple over, silly mistake on my part, momentary lapse of consentration tied with a bit of fatigue. Im fine, just squished my foot a bit

Hey all, hope you're winding down in the lead up to Christmas. Quite a mild winter so far here in Scotland. Not gonna get the white Christmas everyone was hoping for, which is fine by me!

I'm gonna be back in Auckland on the 19th of February for about a week for my brother's wedding. I'm gonna be going to one of the islands after that for a week before flying back to Scotland.

I'm keen to pop by a SASS night and hoping to go for a couple rides in between. Only problem is that I don't have a bike anymore, so if anyone has a spare bike or knows of someone with one that would loan it to me for a week let me know.

I'd be keen to set up temporary insuranceo or something for the week just in case. I've looked into hiring bikes but in the peak summer season the rates are pretty extortionate with 5 day minimum hirages usually.

Hey buddy! It's been a mild summer here so far too, though they keep warning us it'd be fierce. If you've got a green Christmas so far, must make you homesick, huh?

Hope to catch you when you're back!

Bugger. But thats a cheap fix. Make sure the radiator is cleaned etc though. Does it come with carbs?

Hey all, hope to be back in the new year when I hope life slows down a bit.

Random fact for those that ride in the country. On the little marker poles on the side of the road there will be orange reflectors on the poles to your right when there is a left hand turn coming up.

Shush man. That's secret squirrel. Riding at night you use all the clever bits of the road markers to pick your line and the amount of arrows on the big yellow signs. If you can disregard road surface, which I have to, crap head light, then the road markers are a fantastic pointer. I've set some of my best laps, ahem, at night.

Well worth swatting up on roadside markers, they're not their for ornaments. Good point and post.

    Get a trials bike.

Rad is loverly and clean, no carbs but im sure the Mc17 ones will bolt up fine, as the only changes between the 17 and 22 motors are the bolted on bits, and the 22 had a restriction built in to the carbs limiting it to 40hp, 28mm intakes as opposed to the 17 which had 45 and 32mm intakes

Heads have the same size inlets

What a great ride tonight xXGIBBOXx. Man that's some bike, it's just a shame it's so "Italian" with the details.
