Connie St Louis cherry picked parts of his speech and completely lied about the context and the Audience reaction to his speech.

He gets fired from his job.

Then later it comes to light that she was actually full of shit, when the full audio recording was made public.

I'll repeat, She lied intentionally - got a Nobel prize winning scientist fired from his job (Based on a lie)

And she has kept her Job.

For every case you can put up, ironically a case heard on the facts known at the time, there's a case where the opposite happens or there's a same sex rivalry... in fact it's well documented that women aren't paid as well as men yet I don't see you leaping up and down about that. Did they burn the judge for bringing bias into his judgement?

Typically you will hear the 77c to a Dollar myth*. I'll do a very quick demo on why this isn't true (oversimplified for brevity sake)


I earn $10/hr - you earn $10/hr - We are both paid the same.

I take home from a 40 hour week $400, you take home from a 40 hour week $400 - we are paid the same. Our ratio is 1:1

Now assume you only work 30 hours a week - I take home my $400 - you take home $300 - Our Ratio is now 0.75:1 - Tell me - are we paid the same?

When you factor the following:

Hours worked, Level of Education, Time spent in field, Occupation and specialisation etc. etc. The wage gap shrinks to about 99c for Women to a Dollar - the most common reason for this difference is that Men are often more aggressive in asking for pay rises.

In fact - a recent study shows that for young Women leaving University - they are now getting paid more than their male counterparts:

However, when women get to about 30 - the 'gap' re-appears - It's almost like most women do something around that age that requires them to take 1-2 years out of the Work Force......

So no - Women are Paid as well as men, however they don't earn as much as men (and there is a big difference between those 2 words)
