I would say the same. I don't blame the banking system for wars, it's human greed. Most of us are still greedy- I see people everyday with less than I have but I don't give all I possibly could to them. We are slowly getting better. Long way to go though. It's easier to make money when you have money that much has been true for a long time. You can afford to take a few chances which is how you make a lot of money - I don't think anyone got rich by being nice and not taking risks. Having said that a lot of wealthy businessmen have hit rock bottom more than once and re-built from scratch.

If whiskey were water I would get a pint glass
Others would kill .
Some would share
Some would charge interest on the loan .... Wouldnt take too long before the system broke down
Then you would see the worst and the best in people
But first the 100 dollars has to move .
Up?

Let's face it we are all greedy. If I had a rental property squirreled away for my retirement I wouldn't give it to a homeless person or a family on the poverty line. I would say 90% of people here decided to have children of their own despite the huge number of children looking for foster parents or adoption. Selfishness - me included.
