You question has connotations that men need to be as good as women ... why not ask the reverse question: Are women equal to men? The diferent questions place the people seeking equality in different relationships (still a bullshit question though)

By what standards are you judging equality? (I never speak of equality it's a bullshit concept - I'll get to that)

We all understand - you've been turned down and rejected by many women hence the scorn and resentment. I don't mind admiting I'm "equal" to a woman, they have different strengths and weaknesses. I respect and admire the workload a lot of single mums face after the dad walks out because he misses his free and easy child free life.
