What do you guy recommend for Auckland region? I'm considering Dainese Racing D1 jacket, but not quite sure whether I should go for a perf or non-perf version. Any advise?

It's your money. When it was my money I went with a vented jacket - and one of these:

It'll keep the cold out (within limits), but if it rains you'll get wet.

I got the D1 in non-perf. It already allows some air movement with the stretchy bits on the arms compared to a full-leather jacket. It's been fine for me so far, but I haven't yet tried it on a hot summer day.
