Well after reading your ummm youthful(?) comments about 60 year olds I took a peek at your profile. Your pic indicates you haven't really grasped the idea of how to get a bike around a corner.

Your body position is all to fuck - your weight over the wrong side of the bike. You have work to do before you criticize anybody else.

I'm biased though, I'm over 60. Well over.

Feel free to come ride with me sometime and teach me how to do it.

I'd suggest it's the lycra-clad tossers who waddle their fat arse indignantly in front of traffic, whilst in their Tour de Frog "pelleton".
If more of these twats get bowled... Meh.

But if they're on a motorbike and get rear-ended then that's completely different.

To me it suggests that cyclists can zig quicker than cars can zag...
Where I am we have a LOT of long straight roads. We are also on what is a popular inland touring route for cyclists. Approaching one or more of these pests from behind on the open road - with probably a lot of wind noise from the usual half gale blowing - and more noise from the cyclist's blood thumping in his ears...they have no idea you're coming.
And the bastards can't hold a straight line.
Why more haven't been hit I really don't know.
If they had mirrors they wouldn't use them anyway.....

So if cyclists "had" to have mirrors fitted, they might at least see the bigger picture...and save themselves from that one silly, but fatal, swerve.
Yeah, some sure as hell have the self-preservation instincts of a lemming!

Mirrors would help but so would turning your head.

I guess if you're 70 years old or so turning your head might not be so easy - so go for mirrors AND USE THEM! (A lot of bikers and drivers don't)

I don't have to do anything. It's you who is posting pics of faulty riding technique.

Well actually I like to learn, something I enjoy. BTW that pic was screwing around on a warm down lap with a mate.

But if you want to be a cock, go ahead.
