Do you know your personality profile?

Why are we so different and how can we use our profile and our difference from each other more positively? (not an exact science but can be fun to explore)

    Just for fun:

Here is a free test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp what do you think you are and do you think it is an accurate reflection of you?

    Meh - ENTP.

ESTJ, very similar to meyers briggs which i did years ago bt forget what my results were there.

interesting that it puts me as being an extrovert, something that i have had to teach myself to be, naturally an introvert

Interesting - there are no right or wrong results they are simply a reflection of your sub-concious and/or learned behavioural traits.

It gets more interesting when others (observers - closer the better like spouses/partners) compare the the match between the behaviour and the type data.

Interesting fact on KB is that you can generally only judge from written contribution how close the match is compared to the type outcome.

It can be both helpful and fun in a sports or work situations when team building by helping individuals understand themselves and their team mates and why they behave and react the way they do but it is essential (IMO) to keep it light! - (My wife is my opposite ENTP - ISTJ - she is my steadying rock!)

The constant second guessing of yourself must eventually fuck you off though, doesn't it?

INTPs' intelligence and logical reasoning skills are a force to be reckoned with. Be it a minor debate or a life-changing decision, INTPs will find it easy to entertain multiple ideas and keep a cool head.
Well - you did say it's exactly how you picture me - so I guess I'll take the compliment.

An INTP arguing a point may very well be trying to convince himself as much as his opposition.
As long as you're convincing yourself - that's all that matters.

Well, in putting forth a logical and convincing argument and weighing up multiple possibilities at the same time is how we avoid believing in BS.

You may wish to think about that. You may also wish to think about why you felt so compelled to comment about others personality types - I was going to leave this thread as a no-mans land - and yet you couldn't.
