Sometimes I found that people were intimidated just by the presence of the Goose.

something that happened a few year ago.
three of us were heading up north and one needed cash so at Blenheim we found a cash machine. in front of the atm was a raised garden. now im 6'1" and at the time weighed in at 120kgs, i had a full beard and was wearing a Driz-a-bone over my leathers as it was raining aso I guess i looked like a rather big unit. so we pulled up, two parked on one end of the raised garden and i parked at the other end, we got off our bikes and headed to the atm from opposite sides, there was an older gentleman at the atm so he quickly finished his transaction and turned towards me, looked at me then over his shoulder at the other two and turned, walked past them then out on to the road and round the garden to his car parked in front of my bike.

i never considered myself as a threatening person but on reflection later i guess i probably looked rather scary to someone who did not know me.

Apparently a rumour the old well may have a fire in it, which has nothing to do with intimidation road users, but just thought i'd mention, we can discuss that issue with the fire brigade when it arrives should it flare up on Saturday night ( oh , that'll be you then).

so i need to bring some M.E.K or thinners to put the fire out then, think i read somewhere that a small explosion can sometimes put a small fire out so if we assume that is correct we can also assume that a large explosion will put out a large fire, oh right i will bring wood as well

Whisky farts? I think you've seen my new lighter I got from my inlaw, he cranked it up one day and when it fired up it cooked a whole row of peas in 2 seconds. So....should I mount it on front of the bike for intimidating those intimidating road users?...Ahemm! that is the burning question.

Both. You use meths in the small black bowl to preheat the burner. When it's nice and hot you turn on the kero. Very difficult to light kero from cold.

Cheers for the info Daffyd (hope ya keeping good), we gave it a whirl but failed to get it to impress.
First the nut holding the pump seal on fell into the guts of it, so we pulled it apart, rebuilt, and got some p.s.i happening. Managed to get it to flame some ( may have been too cold?) in the end we decided it had a blocked jet and would need a good strip down.
So our target (the neigbours) is safe for now..maybe it's gonna just be a magic lamp, if I keep polishing it who knows, maybe the genie will come out and grant me that wish for a new motorcycle?

Those jets do block easily. You need a pricker, a small handle with a very fine wire on the end. A piece of 10A fuse wire might do the trick but could be too flexible. I can't emphasise enough that the burner MUST be hot!
For Chrissake DON'T be tempted to try petrol or white spirits in it.

Keeping good, ta, but struggling a bit with the heat, (currently 34°/58%RH with a 'real feel' of 40°). You might have a word to you genie on my behalf too. I'm currently sans wheels.

ya can't say that and not expect it to be taken as a challenge

think fuse wire prolly to soft but i have some stuff at work that will prolly do the trick.
we may not have had it warmed proper, it was a slightly chilly night between rain showers
