Sanders had a typical upbringing for his generation of American Jews: his father generally attended synagogue only on Yom Kippur; he attended public schools while his mother "chafed" at his yeshiva Sunday schooling at a Hebrew school; and their religious observances were mostly limited to Passover seders with their neighbors. Larry Sanders said, "They were very pleased to be Jews, but didn’t have a strong belief in God."Bernie had a bar mitzvah at the historic Kingsway Jewish Center in Midwood, Brooklyn, where he grew up.
In 1963, in cooperation with the Labor Zionist youth movement Hashomer Hatzair, Sanders and his first wife volunteered at Sha’ar HaAmakim, a kibbutz in northern Israel.
So according to You, Yokel, Axkel and Oldie, Hes in fact the direct cause of all the worlds problems.

    oh the irony

And he has it in spades.
Shame he's not likely to get a shot.

(In other words, quite the opposite of Bernie Sanders).

    You seem a little confused.

Remember how I said my grandmother's maiden name was Levy?

Well I certainly don't hold her as the root of all the world's problems either.

I am not confused at all, or do I care what your relatives maiden name is, or whether your codger is cut or not for that matter.
It may surprise you but, some people judge people by their actions, not by their names or religions or race.
So with this in mind, its only people that maybe jewish jews "that aren't related to you", that are the cause of all the worlds problems and should be gassed?

So you won't answer the question, well that's rather ironic. Afterall I am only asking a simple question.
Do you not want to discuss your propensity to post links to white supremacist websites purporting that Jews are the root of all the worlds problems?
Or are you going to say you don't do that?

But at least its consistent with all the stupid videos that you post and say everyone must watch, but when asked by bogan or thedemonlord.
You can't summarise the facts that they allegedly contain (because they don't have any facts)
You call them stupid fucks as well. You also tell them to fuck off too.

Do you find that projecting these insults like this somehow strengthens your argument?
Or it just gives you time to change the subject?

, Back in the late 80's Ronnie was saying dumb things like Donald like "My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you

today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

Anyhow Tokyo is a far better target than Auckland
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

The suggestion here that Sanders never had a chance because he is a Jew is wrong. He diminished his chances by insisting that he is a socialist. Had he offered himself as a traditional New Deal Democrat while saying all of the same things he said, he very well might have been the nominee. The great majority of voters here have no problems with Jewish candidates, Mormon candidates, Catholic candidates, since before 1960. There are still large parts of the country that would probably balk at voting for a gay (what's their tag now, LGBTO or some-such?), and an atheist candidate wouldn't have a prayer, . . . although given the present choice facing us I'm not sure that Satan himself couldn't win as a write-in candidate. Make no mistake, most of us are stunned by the absurd choices facing us this year.

Some of what "everybody knows" ain't so. It is assumed by many that because Hillary is the first female candidate for President, women will vote for her as a bloc. I think a lot of women are insulted by that, and that many women were put off by Sarah Palin . . . on the issues.

One of the saddest missed opportunities for us was that we didn't get to elect our first Black president until Obama came along. We knew he was minimally-qualified, but he was smart and he sounded so good, said such sensible things, and he was facing a well-qualified but clueless establishment candidate in Romney. I like Obama, but he has been a disappointment, still saying all the same good-sounding generalities but rather ineffectual (except in passing a health plan with a lot of bad effects) and too liberal for most of us.

But history would surely have worked out immeasurably better had we had the chance to vote for the previous potential first Black president, retired general Colin Powell, in 1980. When the smirking jackass frat-boy George W.Bush was first presented by his dumb-ass Texas backers as a candidate, serious Republican party men who knew about Dubya were scrambling to find alternatives. The first name to come up was Powell, an intelligent, highly experienced, common sense moderate. Powell himself was interested . . . but his wife said absolutely not. She was terrified that Deep South white supremacist fanatics would come gunning for her husband. So Powell had to beg off, and the Republicans had to figure out how to sell the lightweight Bush Junior, with the aid of the diabolical image-engineer Karl Rove (and Bush's admittedly reassuring wife). And they still lost the election, which had to be stolen ultimately by a corrupt Supreme Court under the influence of the phony constructionist "Scaley Tony" Scalia. Resulting in two wars, millions killed and maimed, terrorists encouraged (leading directly to the rise of ISIS, and the western world being inundated by Mideast refugees), all done on a credit card.

The thing is, I think Mrs. Powell was wrong. The Deep South, for all its objectionable attitudes, loves a general, and Powell was one of the leaders of the successful operations of Desert Storm. The South has also been at pains to convince the rest of the country that it is no longer racist, and I think that Powell would have had huge enthusiastic support from the South. One of Powell's stated guidelines about foreign invasions was, "if you break it, you've bought it." Yes, I know that as a Bush appointee he loyally accepted the CIA's suspicions about WMDs in Iraq. But if Powell had been president, the CIA would not have been slanting its reports to justify invasion, as it did for Bush.

Bottom line for me is that poor Mrs. Powell, utterly innocently and inadvertently, caused American and world events to be drastically altered for the worse.
