FBMC Pie and Pint, this Sunday the 11th of Sept

FBMC and tripping around the Waikato a little Sunday if anyone is keen, Leaving from Auckland (Bombay)

The Pie and Pint is on again

"Yessir its that time of the year again, Viands gets a visit again mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Pies

Now what pie to try this time, I might try something other than the Oxtail pie….but damn its good so not so sure.

Caltex Bombay meet point 9:45 and roll out at 10am, For those that are from the southern end Whatawhata would make a good meet point outside the old Tavern/GAS station and we should roll in at 11am so aim to be there at 10:45am

Then off to get some pies

The loop is around 300K’s so for those that need it we will stop for gas at Te Kawa (Should be open 150K) or going back past Whatawhata (180K)"

Open ride, Size of yah belly doesn't mater as long as you like pies :P

    The weather looks good

It is a pity you are not! Cause it'd be nice to have caught up. No matter, the FBMC is alive and well and will one day head for a coffee on the waterfront at that place Man Ga Kino!. So, be home them ok.

Thanks for the ride guys, been a few weeks since I've been able to get out on the bike.
    Pies weren't bad either.

Lots of bikes on SH22, unfotunately there was a biker down just down the road after I left you at Waingaro, ambulance was just arriving, hope wasnt too serious.
...and I don't wanna die, just want to ride my motorcy...cle (Arlo Guthrie)

And the reason for me being a little late to the start, this is the result of an Unregistered, unWOFed, Uninsured blind and deaf Cage driver that T boned Jeff (had to get my trailer and get his bike stowed away)

Jeff is sore but OK but I will be a worker down for a while while he recovers .

Just glad Jeff isn't any more banged up! Not a good experience being a man/bike down even before we got started and for it to be OUR MAN Jeff is just bloody incredible. Goes to show you fatties, you just can't trust anyone in a car to have seen you, so Don't, OK.
Jeff mate, we missed you on this one, glad you came out of it bruised and sore instead of worse. Be seeing you on another, one day soon I hope.
Otherwise you Orrible buch+ a pansy moto cicle riders, you all did very well! Great days riding my trip meter regitered 390 odd K's at days end, plenty of stops and great times had by all, great to see so many from other areas and other outfits coming along with us, remember you only need to "Feel like a fat biker to be one"" We picked up a couple of likely lads at the Caltex, the Ulysesses left without them from the BP over the way so Ray and Sebastain came over and asked where we were going when we told them, they asked to come along,so while both will need training bra's and plenty of pies I reckon we can make good FBMCérs out of em yet.
I saw no stupid riding, one or two front's off the ground a bit a couple of times, not something I'd like to see again on an official run, but I am naming no names, just putting it out there, while we're together as a group and while you are riding within that group, do refrain from such behaviour, please. The FBMC has a tradition of getting everyone there and back and I'd like to keep it that way. Just a couple of gentle reminders, when in a group do stagger yourself to the other side of your lane that the rider in front of you is using. For those who don't know why. It doubles the distance between you and the next bike in front of you, giving plenty of time to react and slow, stop if required.Simple stuff really. Also look(actively) for the turn signals on the bike in front of you, I say this because some bikes have very weak turn signals and are not seen until some or all of the bikes behind it have made a wrong turn, this has only happened once, but it has happened.
Pace was well set Leathel, no one got lost or bored and all bikes that started the day at the ride off point , made it home in one piece. Thanks man.
There were a lot of bikes out yesterday and man can you blame anyone for not getting out thier bike and simply GOING.
    Roll on summer.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
