New old fart from Aussie (Tone165)

    Tone,

Originally a Titirangi lad, have been riding continuously since '71 when I found a Rabbit Scooter at the tip.

I'm ex NZ Army, now living in Australia on the Gold Coast. I have 4 bikes including one in NZ.

I have lived here (In Oz) for 11 yrs, but have been coming back a bit this year to ride.

Coromandel loop was mostly gravel back in the day, but now I say it is one of the best rides anywhere.

Next trip is Feb 6 to 14 and will be spending 3 days ripping it up.

Look forward to catching a few of you on the road, and if you are planning a Gold Coast holiday, and can ditch the missus and kids at Dreamworld just down the road, I can show you the best rides we have around here which are not too bad, the roads are not as flash as NZ, but the weather makes up for that!

It's Xmas day here and hot as hell, I'm going to ride up Springbrook Mountain and find me a quiet waterfall to sit near.

PS.. Can't get an avatar to show up, but I have some video on Youtube..Search Tone165, there are about 7 of em from around this area.

Thanx for the welcome, and you ladies...why not get in the kitchen and cook Uncle Bully some eggs!

Just joking..I like girls quite a lot! And scientific studies has confirmed that nothing is sexier than chicks on bikes.

I revise my original post to say ditch the Old man and the kidds.

    Im no sexist!

Only a couple of weeks and we are back in NZ for 9 days riding!

Flying in on 6th Feb, doing some visiting etc then heading off on Tuesday to Miranda and Pauanui. Wed and Thurs will do the loop, clockwise and anti.

Anyone likely to be out n about?

    Now available in NZ

Have moved home.... If you see a black GTS1000 around, it's probably me... Unless it's speeding and then I don't know who it is!
