"Long night last night , Mike was down at Phillip Island to spin some Laps on the DesmoSport Ducati in prep for next weeks support races at Australian Moto GP, an early bed type of person he was woken by hotel Manager to switch his phone on and call me , I gave him the news the same way as Davide gave me the news back in 2000 for Sugo , I said your going to Japan , flights at 6 to brisbane, get someone to bring your passport and the your going to Tokyo, driver will be there, the rest will be sorted, a nice little surprise but a tough one, I'm confident that Mike will work his way into it and treat it as an opportunity to show his talent and professional approach to the challenge ahead , great to see Avintia Ducati give an Ozzy a shot , thanks guys and good luck to Mad Mike Jones , TB21"
