    Important News (for yokels)

I may live in a rural backwater, but around here we keep up to date with the important issues of the day. This is the front page of our local weekly paper.

If that's the most notable event this week, it's probably a good thing.

It's real news, it happened in real time to real people. As a dog breeder and occasional show participant, it's also relevant. Thank you for posting it.

Yeah, I get that paper too. Best front page story of their sister paper, The Dannevirke News was the gumboots being stolen off the back porch! I posted that on my website and had many hilarious responses from my customers - though many of the Americans wished that is all their papers had to report.

Quite true. Dog owners are required to pick up the crap - Horse owners can't be fucked getting off to do it.
Next pony club ride along my berm that leaves crap behind will have it thrown at them....

I'm sure some phone-toting pony girl will provide our local rag with the relevant indignant protest and pics....
