After an election the new MPs undergo a few days of "orientation" which as far as I can figure out is a guided tour of all the different things they can claim allowances for.

Because It's real simple ya morons , fiat ..fractional money is debt , and the interest on that debt reaches a point when there isn't enough coming in to pay for said debt

So you lower interest rates to zero .... And ,,,,when that don't work any longer.....

I agree. Tis something I'm waiting to mention to some people who recently approached me. However land is probably the first commodity to highlight what's in the post as that is where all of the real "money" is. So it ain't nuffink to do with the banks. Nuffink. I'll say it again, nuffink. As for glass steagal. It has nuffink to do with anything as it is a regulation and regulation does not affect the real "money". All fun and games for the plebs
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

The money as u and I understand , ie real wealth .
    I agree with u
But using the currency that allows the transfer of wealth , then yes I'm afraid banks and steagal play a pivotal role

Absowootwy. Tis why I consider the land price shift a decent marker for what's coming, as I see land as better than gold in terms of real wealth (not the currency value of). Heh... pivotal as in simple single points of useful failure.

But then how to value the invaluable
Use currency, fewer and fewer players can afford that game ..by design
Or not use currency in which social pressures will limited it's health and well being..
Still ,I could always follow young chuzzlewit and with help and guidance from the The Anglo-Bengalee Disinterested Loan and Life Assurance Company

Ownership is its own valuation. That you can get a darned fine return on the RENT is obviously a nice bonus, but only if what you receive as rent has any value of use to anyone else. It's an old game eh.
